Hello Minions!
I wanted to create a separate thread that dealt specifically with Payroll. I will keep this pretty short and to the point and the information below will be added to the SPPA Doc. We just figured this info should also be split out from the main SPPA doc to make it easier to find =)
Pay periods:
- Currently we are on a bi-weekly system.
- The pay period will always end on a Friday and the next period will start the following Saturday.
- Paychecks will go out the following Sunday/Monday after payroll ends.
So... that's the short of it. However, lets get an example of what can be expected by our members from their leadership shall we?
At a Glance: Below is an example
Saturday - 12-15-12 - The new pay period begins,
------------> members who want points to be banked must get their communication into Black Canvas.
Sunday -12-16-12 - Bankable Points are set and final SPPA calcs are made.
------------->SPPA GTP gets re-posted and a link to the Google Doc is provided in the corp bulletin.
-------------> All Directors and special project heads are CC'd on the current SPPA spreadsheet.
-------------> Members are paid out of the corp payroll wallet.
-------------> All corp wallets are balanced for next pay period.
-------------> Corp EvE Mail will be set out to all members for end of payroll.
Friday - 12-21-12 - SPPA contracts pulled and calculated.
-------------> This Week In INC bulletin updated. Check for Target changes.
Thursday - 12-27-12 - Corp EvE Mail sent out to remind that end of the pay period is soon and to get all contracts in.
Friday - 12-28-12 - Payroll ends
-------------> Remaining contracts are pulled and calculated.
-------------> SPPA GTP is updated and a link to the Google Doc will be posted in the bulletin.
-------------> Members are given 24 hours to check the SPPA GTP and decide if they will be banking any available points.
-------------> This Week In INC bulletin updated. Check for Target changes.
Thank you guys for being awesome members. We will do our best to better refine the SPPA system(s) as the corp continues to grow and its need expand. As always, if any of you have anything to add or want to talk about the corp and its processes, please get with a Director anytime. We value your guys opinions and like you, simply want the corp to be the best it can be for the community as a whole.
